Penn-Del Charities exists to compassionately address the special needs of the economically, physically, socially, and spiritually challenged members of our society and to meet those needs by providing support and resources to new and existing community outreach programs.
By identifying, supporting, and resourcing local community outreach programs, we help to sow seeds of compassion upon the lives of those in need--seeds that will bring forth a harvest of hope and security, alleviating suffering throughout the communities of Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Penn-Del Charities seeks to serve new and existing community outreach programs that are actively addressing and meeting individual and community needs, such as: Local Food Banks, Youth Centers, Homeless Shelters, Senior Assistance programs, Educational programs, Job-training programs, and Emergency Disaster Relief programs.
According to Pastor Gary Bellis, of Bread of Life Outreach, "Penn-Del Charities will facilitate a strategic relationship between philanthropic donors and effective community nonprofit agencies. It will enable compassion-based outreaches like ours to address both the physical and spiritual needs of the neediest among us."
Penn-Del Charities will identify, support, and resource such community programs by raising awareness, solicitating donations, grants, endowments, gifts in kind, and by mobilizing groups of volunteers for crisis situations.

Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy." Mercy is a term used to describe compassion shown by one person to another. The needs around us are great and I am so glad that Penn-Del Charities will be a means of showing mercy to the hurting and reaching out to those in need with the compassion of Christ.
