Where and when does Coaching meet?
Cohorts meet from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

What will be expected of Coaching participants?
• Commit to growing personally and reaching the unchurched in your community.
• Attend all sessions.
• Complete assignments on leadership and church development for each session.
• Read the four or five assigned books per year.
• Desire the best for every participant in the cohort and do all you can to assure others reach their full potential.
• Treat all personal information shared by participants as confidential and covenant with the other participants to pray for them and their churches.

Who may attend?
• Lead pastors who bring a least one additional leader from their church to the cohorts. You are encouraged to bring all staff pastors and other church leaders. We have found that the pastors who bring a group to the cohorts have a great advantage. We encourage large churches to bring their entire staff so that the entire team is on the same page. We encourage small and medium sized churches to bring several key church influencers.
• Staff pastors and other church leaders may attend only if their senior pastor has also committed to join and these leaders must make the same commitments as the senior pastor.
• Spouses of all are encouraged to attend with their partner, and are encouraged to make the same commitments.

Observations about Coaching:
• None of us has all the answers. Some of your greatest insights will come directly from the Holy Spirit and from other participants.
• Personal and congregational transformation is an intentional process that takes time. This is not about quick fixes.
• Growth and development takes commitment and proactive leadership.
• Coaching meetings must be “safe” places where participants can be transparent with their struggles, concerns and needs.
• The coaches will not do your work for you, but try to share with you skills and insights to help you understand the issues and factors so that you can lead in your church.
• You will be expected to coach and empower others.

Will there be a cost?
Coaching Groups are heavily underwritten by the Penn-Del District. Participants
pay just a fraction of the cost for the training and notebooks ($30.00 each).
The Network is making an investment in you and your church.
Here are the registration fees:

• Home missions churches: $100.00 per year for your entire team
• Churches under 300 in Sunday morning attendance: $200.00 per year for your entire team
• Churches over 300 in Sunday morning attendance: $400.00 per year for your entire team
